The Garbage Museum is a contemporary art museum where trash becomes an artistic statement.

This is the BÜRO art group's space in the Kaluga and Kaliningrad regions. Its collection features over 600 works by artists from 25 countries, created from recycled materials and waste. The museum explores the value in what is typically considered unnecessary, expanding the boundaries of material and form through contemporary artistic expression.
The new positioning conveys the Museum's value through artistic expression. It conveys the idea that art doesn't have to be perfect and glossy; it exists for everyone and can express meaning and emotion even through trash. Furthermore, the exhibition and the museum's positioning have an environmental subtext that runs through all aspects without being intrusive.

A museum is a system in which every discovered object is assigned a new code. The identity visualizes not the object, but its re-encoding. Once in the museum space, trash acquires meaning, beginning to speak for itself.

To visualize this idea, a generative typography tool was developed for creating fonts with unique glyph states. The symbols are assembled from abstract particles, referencing the creation of art objects from waste. Rotating both the sculpture and the font creates a radically different sensory experience.
